Braceframe Web (remote studio in Sri Lanka, working UK business hours)

Who we are

Braceframe (trading as Braceframe Web) is a sole proprietorship in Sri Lanka, not a company. Its proprietor is [full legal name of the sole proprietor]. Address: [postal address]. Email: hello@braceframe.co.uk. We are not in the United Kingdom and do not claim to be.

What we hold about your business, and where it came from

  • From your public Google Maps listing: the business name, address, phone number, website address, opening hours, star rating, and up to five public reviews with the reviewer's first name and initial.
  • From the Companies House public register: your company's registered name, number, status, registered office, and the first name of a sole director.
  • From your own website, if you have one: what our audit bot measured on it, and what it says about your services, phone number and address.
  • What you tell us if you reply.

Why we hold it

To offer limited companies in the roofing trade a website we have already built for them, and to deliver it if they want it. We contact limited companies only, never sole traders. We do not sell or share what we hold.

How long we keep it

If we never contact you, we delete your details within 12 months. A preview we built for you is withdrawn after 14 days unless you ask us to keep it. If you become a client, we keep the records of the work and the invoice for as long as tax law requires.

How to stop us, or see or delete what we hold

Reply STOP to any message, or email hello@braceframe.co.uk. We will not contact you again, and we keep only what is needed to make sure of that: your phone number, email address, domain and company number on a do-not-contact list. Ask to see or delete what we hold and we will answer within one month.

Our audit bot

The bot that reads websites is described at braceframe.co.uk/audit-bot, with the robots.txt rule that keeps it out.

Complaints

Tell us first and we will put it right. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
